We finally saw a favorable weather window and "snuck-off" to the islands for a few days. It really does feel like sneaking off when you get away on a Thursday morning.
We had cell service for a short time when we first arrived and I was able to text this picture to Janie. Guess who pulled into the anchorage the next morning - woohoo!!
Staff fishing for "real estate":
And a few other neighbors - Rum Runner and Mary Frances:
E-Dreams sporting their four-year makeover and looking great:
And also the McDermott Family aboard the Shannon Marie. Darn, no pics, but we had a great time meeting Jim's wife and kids. Especially sorry I missed the pictures of the kids jumping off the top of Poseidon into 56 degree water. Yes, 56 degrees -- ahhh, youth.
A couple of things on the menu this weekend- Fish Tacos - thank goodness for the grouper in the freezer, because we never put a line in the water:
Focaccia with Caramelized Onions, Pears and Blue Cheese:
And Asian-Style Chicken Wings:
Great weekend and now we're hoping for good weather over Memorial weekend so we can get back out to our beautiful islands in another couple of weeks.

I've looked at the picture of that onion, pear and blue cheese pizza more times than anyone has a right to.
