Sarah, Jeff & Marco drove down late Thursday night for the weekend. On Friday we went to lunch at a cute little place in Santa Barbara. The Shoreline Restaurant is right on the beach and feels like some of the fun places we visited in Mexico. Marco played in the sand while we ate tacos and drank cold Mexican beer.
Marco ate the black beans from all of our taco plates, preferring them to the hot dog and fries!

On Saturday Sarah & Jeff went LA to meet a group of college friends. Marco took us for a dinghy ride in "Papa's little boat" to go see the sea lions:
This was our first time babysitting Marco overnight and we hope we passed the test (despite letting him watch way too much Dora!) and he will come stay with us again soon. What a sweet boy he is!
